SR 232 is Columbia Road, which runs along the Evans and Martinez boundary and ends at the interchange where it turns into the western end of I-520. SR 383 is Belair Road, and it is the way onto the interstate: I-20 Exit 194, signed as Jimmie Dyess Parkway and South Belair Road.

Exit 194 is the last Columbia County exit on I-20 eastbound and it is also the road to Fort Eisenhower's Gate 1. That gives one interchange three jobs at once — commuter access for two of the county's largest communities, installation traffic, and interstate through traffic — and heavily used interchanges are consistently where windshields find stone.
