What Happens Next
You get a price and a straight answer on whether the damage is repairable. If it is, that is the cheaper job and we will say so. If it is not, we will tell you what glass your vehicle takes, whether a camera calibration is involved, and how long the whole thing realistically takes.
If you are claiming on insurance, mention the carrier. On the South Carolina side the calendar matters right now — the zero-deductible safety glass provision runs through 31 December 2026 and ends on 1 January 2027, which is covered in the South Carolina deductible guide. On the Georgia side there is no equivalent waiver, so your comprehensive deductible is the number that decides whether claiming is worth it at all.
Once the price is agreed, we book a time and a place. Most jobs happen at a home driveway or a workplace parking lot, and the main requirements are level ground, room to walk around the vehicle, and weather dry enough for the adhesive to bond. If rain is forecast, a garage or a carport solves it; if neither is available, we would rather move the appointment than fit glass into a wet frame.
Two things worth flagging when you book. First, if the vehicle sits inside a gated property or a controlled-access site, tell us in advance so access can be arranged rather than discovered on the morning. Second, if your vehicle has a camera behind the mirror for lane keeping or automatic emergency braking, calibration is part of the job and it changes how long you should set aside — the timing guide sets out realistic figures.

Before You Get in Touch
What do you need from me to give a price?
Year, make, model and trim, plus which glass is damaged and roughly how big the damage is. Trim matters more than people expect — two versions of the same model can take completely different windshields depending on rain sensors, heating elements, acoustic interlayers and heads-up display.
Can you tell me whether it can be repaired without seeing it?
Usually we can get close. Describe the size, the shape and where it sits on the glass, or send a close photo with a coin next to the damage for scale. The final call is made on site, but you will not be surprised by it. Our repair-or-replace guide explains the tests we apply.
Do you charge for a quote?
No. Quotes are free, including the ones that end with us telling you the job needs a controlled facility rather than a driveway. You should know the number before anything is booked.
Where can you do the work?
Anywhere with level ground, room to walk around the vehicle and reasonable weather. A driveway, a garage, a carport, a workplace parking lot or a job site all work. Heavy rain means either a sheltered spot or a rescheduled appointment, because the bond line has to be dry. See mobile service.
Do you handle insurance claims?
Yes, and we can bill the carrier directly where the carrier allows it. Tell us who you are insured with when you get in touch. See insurance claims for how the process normally runs on each side of the state line.
Do you work on fleets and work vehicles?
Yes — vans, box trucks and work pickups, done on site so the vehicle is not off the road for a day. Scheduling across a yard full of units is a different conversation from a single car, so start at fleet auto glass.
